Map & Directions
Kimberley is located in the South East corner of
British Columbia a 15 minute drive from the new Canadian Rockies International
Airport at Cranbrook. Once the airport is running fully Kimberley will become
the easiest Canadian Ski Resort for foreign visitors to access. By road Calgary
is a 4 - 4 1/2 drive and can be accessed by Highway 1 and 96 via Banff and
Radium from the North or via Crows Nest Pass and Fernie 2 and 3 from the South.
Both routes are incredibly scenic. Vancouver is a 10 hour drive though it is
also possible to take short internal flights from both Calgary and Vancouver.
North Route:
Leaving the airport turn left onto Barlow Trail North; in 0.5km turn left
on Airport Trail; then in 2.5km turn left on to Deer Foot Trail; After 8km south
on Deer
Foot Trail, take exit to 16th ave west/ HWY 1; 158km exit HWY 95S south;
85km to 'T' intersection in Radium, turn left; 118km to KIMBERLEY follow signs
from Kimberley Center to Kimberley Alpine Resort
South Route:
Leaving the airport you turn left onto Barlow Trail North; 0.5km turn left on
Airport trail; then in 2.5km turn left on Deer Foot Trail; in 32.2km merge on to
HWY 2 South; After136km turn west on to HWY 3 to Crows Nest Pass; its then 249km
before you take the exit to Kimberley HWY 95; in 27.6km follow signs to
Kimberley Alpine Resort.
